Once again, I’m moving to a new home, only 3 months after the last change…well, anyway, this is th reason for the lack of updates for this long, I’ll get back as soon as possible and continue posting news.
Thanks for your understanding, I just want everybody to know that I’ve not discontinued this website!
See you soon,
Pablo.

After several adventures, including moving to a new home, lots of extra work, sudden travels, and computer errors (these are inevitable, as always…), AT LAST i’m slowly recovering my life rythm again.
So, CG-Today is back on stage again! Stay tuned for close updates!
A special greeting goes to those who have been reading the site even when there were no daily updates !!

Hi there! This is just a quick note to let you know that the lack of updates in the last few days is because I’m moving to my new home. Hopefully I’ll be up again publishing news really soon, in just a few days!
Meanwhile, here you got some links people have sent during these days:
Sergei Guziy recommends reading the Making Of Casius, hosted on 3DM3.com.
Hau Ming (Jamie) Li has done several making of’s, too. The first one, Cheese Platter, has been listed here on CG-Today before. Read now Making of Fruit Tarts, her second tutorial on food using Maya, Photoshop and rendered with Mental Ray.
Also, during these days Nvidia has signed a definitive agreement to acquire AGEIA Technologies, Inc., the industry leader in gaming physics technology. Expect to have PhysX on GeForce soon!

Yesterday night, closing Art Futura, has been celebrated the awards ceremony. CG-Node has been awarded as the best spanish 3D forum/community of 2007. We are very proud of receiving this award, but it’s just the users who really won it. To all of them, I want to say thanks from here(since I know that many of you read this blog).
Click the image to read the notice right at CG-Node. There is also a video to download and some pictures of the event, don’t miss it!

Lately I’ve been talking with Miguel Gómez, admin of Dimension 2.5, a very nice spanish VFX blog; featuring interviews, news and everything related to postproduction and 3D, you’ll very likely be atracted from the first glance! Also, from now on you’ll be able to reach this blog by clicking on “Friends” at the top row menu on this site and once there, clicking the “Dimension 2.5″ banner.
