You may have come across some of the artwork of Philip Straub, he has done 30 children illustration books and has had numerous commissions by such famous companies as Mattel, Fisher Price, Disney, Universal Studios, Warner Brothers, DC Comics, or Knowledge Adventure. He’s just been promoted to art director at NCSoft, after occupying the same post at Electronic Arts for more than 3 years. At the same time he continues teaching workshops and co-writing books and tutorials on digital arts.

To mark the 100th issue of 3D World magazine, CGSociety has joined with the 3D World team to find the 100 most influential 3D movies of all time.

The shortlist contains 150 VFX movies and 3D animated features. To qualify for inclusion, each movie had to be at least 60 minutes in length and include a significant amount of 3D work. You can pick up to TEN movies from the list, the ones that had the most influence on you as a 3D artist.
